Free rides available on Citybus for people with disabilities on Nov. 10
11.10 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2024. Passengers presenting their "Registration Card for People with Disabilities" or using their Personalised Octopus or JoyYou Card with "Persons with Disabilities Status" can travel free of charge with a companion caregiver on all Citybus routes on 10 November 2024 (Sunday) (except taxi and employee bus services).
All persons with disabilities who are holders of the "Registration Card for People with Disabilities" issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau also can enjoy the following facilities free of charge together with a carer on the same day:
- Free rides on designated modes of public transport.
- Free admission to museums under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and swimming pool facilities under the Department.
- Free visit to the Hong Kong Wetland Park of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
