Arizona extends voting by 2 hours after malfunctions at 9 polling stations
Voting in a county in eastern Arizona faced significant disruptions on the election day, as nine polling stations experienced issues, including equipment malfunctions and shortages of printed ballots. In response, a local judge ordered an extension of two additional hours for the affected polling stations.
Meanwhile, a nearby school serving as a polling location received a bomb threat, prompting temporary closures at several schools. One school evacuated its students and sent them home for the day. Authorities later confirmed that the bomb threat was not credible.
