Henderson Land launches aluminum can recycling program at over 200 properties for 'greener' Christmas
Henderson Land Development announced today (Nov. 1) the launch of an aluminum can recycling program across more than 200 of its properties. The initiative aims to creatively upcycle collected cans into vibrant eco-friendly Christmas trees, celebrating a green Christmas with the public.
From now until Dec. 1, Henderson Land aims to collect 100,000 aluminum cans from its properties, including The Henley, One Innovale, and the Square Mile series. The upcycled cans will be transformed into several colorful Christmas trees, adorned with festive lights to decorate lobbies and clubhouses, enhancing the holiday spirit while encouraging a recycling habit among residents. After the Christmas season, the cans will be recycled again, contributing to waste reduction at the source.
In addition to the recycling program, Henderson Land has been actively incorporating sustainability elements into its various development projects, such as energy-efficient designs, renewable energy installations, and the use of green building materials, in its efforts to create eco-friendly, livable cities.
