Mysterious statues mocking Donald Trump appear across US cities ahead of 2024 election
As the 2024 US presidential election draws near, mysterious statues mocking Republican candidate Donald Trump and his supporters have appeared in multiple cities across the country.
One such statue was found in Philadelphia's Maja Park on Wednesday (Oct. 30). The large Trump figure was accompanied by a sign reading "In Honor Of A Lifetime Of Sexual Assault," with the statue depicting Trump smiling and making a suggestive hand gesture. A plaque beneath the statue referenced Trump's infamous 2005 remarks, which surfaced before the 2016 election, where he described how he had sexually assaulted women.
According to US media reports, the statue has since been removed.
Similar satirical statues have appeared in other parts of the country. For instance, a naked statue of Donald Trump was spotted on Kensington Ave in Philadelphia.
Another statue mocking Trump appeared in Washington, D.C., showing a bronze art installation depicting a pile of feces on former US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's desk.
