The State Council Information Office held a press conference today (Oct. 23), where officials from the Ministry of Commerce announced that the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held from Nov. 5 to 10 in Shanghai.
The event will coincide with the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, which includes one main forum and 19 sub-forums.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, preparations are nearly complete, with the total exhibition area exceeding 420,000 square meters. The expo will feature national and corporate exhibitions with participants from 152 countries, regions, and international organizations.
This year's corporate exhibition maintains a large scale of over 360,000 square meters, with 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions. The event will host a record 297 Fortune 500 and industry-leading companies.
