Hong Kong Jockey Club celebrates 140th anniversary with two mega Mark Six jackpots totaling HK$140 mn
Founded in 1884, the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) celebrates its 140th anniversary this year with a series of exciting events running from October through May next year. Among the highlights are two rounds of Mark Six jackpots, each offering a prize fund of HK$70 million, combining for a grand total of HK$140 million.
The first round of the Mark Six special jackpot will begin ticket sales tonight (October 17) following the 113th draw of the year. The jackpot for this round is set at HK$50 million, and if a single ticket wins, the estimated first prize could reach HK$70 million. To give the public more time to participate, the sales period for this jackpot has been extended until 9:15 p.m. next Tuesday (October 22), with the draw taking place at 9:30 p.m. the same day.
The second round of the Mark Six jackpot is scheduled for Monday, October 28. Ticket sales will close at 9:15 p.m., with the draw following at 9:30 p.m. that evening.
According to HKJC statistics, the number 30 has been the most frequently drawn in Mark Six history, appearing 488 times as of October 12. It is followed by 49 (483 times), 24 (476 times), 10 (469 times), and 22 (467 times). The number 13 rounds out the top six with 464 appearances.
With these two mega jackpots and the ongoing anniversary celebrations, the Hong Kong Jockey Club offers an exciting opportunity for lottery enthusiasts and loyal fans.
