The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) reported today that eight animals were discovered deceased at the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens (HKZBG) yesterday (Oct. 13).
While awaiting the results of these tests, the Mammals Section at HKZBG will be closed starting today for thorough disinfection and cleaning. The well-being of the remaining animals will be closely monitored during this period, with the other facilities at HKZBG remaining open.
