Enjoy new discounts for northbound travel: Up to HK$10 savings on transfers

Kowloon Motor Bus Co. Ltd. (KMB) and the Lok Ma Chau - Huanggang Cross-boundary Shuttle Bus (commonly known as "Huang Bus") will launch a new transfer discount program starting next Monday (Oct. 14). (KMB)

Kowloon Motor Bus Co. Ltd. (KMB) and the Lok Ma Chau - Huanggang Cross-boundary Shuttle Bus (commonly known as "Huang Bus") will launch a new transfer discount program starting next Monday (Oct. 14).

Under this scheme, passengers can enjoy discounts equivalent to a free ride on the shuttle bus, with savings of up to HK$10. From the same date, the Huang Bus will also enhance its service frequency to every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the day, offering a more affordable and convenient travel option for passengers between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Passengers who transfer from KMB routes 76K, 276B, B1, or N73 to the Huang Bus can enjoy a maximum of HK$10 off, essentially making the shuttle ride free. The same discount applies to the return journey when traveling from Shenzhen to HK, transferring from the Huang Bus to KMB.

The scheme covers three daytime KMB routes serving Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, and Sheung Shui, as well as one overnight route connecting Sha Tin, Tai Po, and Sheung Shui. Starting next week, the Huang Bus will increase its frequency to every 5 to 10 minutes all day long.

Passengers using an Octopus card for designated KMB routes can transfer at San Tin Bus Station to the Huang Bus bound for Shenzhen's Huanggang Port; or when returning from Shenzhen, they can transfer from the Huang Bus to KMB routes at the same station.
