
A 74-year-old woman was hit by a red minibus in Sau Mau Ping while crossing the road today (Oct. 9) and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a coma.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
Pictures on the Internet showed the elderly woman's foot was bleeding and her shoe flew off a few meters away, leaving a long trail of blood on the ground.
The incident happened at around 1 p.m. The driver reported the incident to the police, who found that he had failed a breathalyzer test.
