The Chief Executive, John Lee, will deliver his new Policy Address on October 16 at 11 am. Together with officials of the HKSAR government, he visited Sha Tin District today (Sept. 27) to listen to the public's views.
According to the arrangement, he will visit residents of Wo Che Estate and a community rehabilitation center, as well as interact with citizens at Sha Kok Market and cooking food stalls.
Lee arrived at Wo Che Estate around 10:00 am in his private car and went upstairs accompanied by the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Chris Sun, and the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Alice Mak, with several police officers patrolling in the vicinity of Fung Wo House.
Afterwards, Lee visited the Community Rehabilitation Day Centre to learn more about the support services for persons with disabilities and their carers. He chatted with several persons with disabilities and their families at the center.

Lee said that the visit gave him deep feelings and believed that their situation reflected the problems being faced by many disabled people and carers' families in the community. He thanked them for their advice.
Lee said he would take careful note of their suggestions and bring them back to his team for detailed discussion in the hope that the policies proposed in the Policy Address can help the needy in the community.
