The Hong Kong Jockey Club announced today (Sept. 24) that it has approved a donation of over HK$121 million to support Ocean Park in enhancing the facilities of its "Giant Panda Adventure" and the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures" exhibit.
Planned improvements include the installation of a snow-making system and landscape restoration efforts, aimed at providing a high-quality, safe, age-appropriate, and more natural environment for the park's giant pandas.
Additionally, the donation will fund the expansion of the "Giant Panda Adventure" exhibit and help finance community education programs, including subsidizing visits for students from low-income families to see the giant pandas in the park.
