This year marks the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China, and the Macao government has designed an official logo for the series of celebratory events throughout the Special Administrative Region.
According to the Macao Government, the logo's copyright is owned by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR; to ensure its proper use, the Bureau has also completed trademark registration under the "Industrial Property Legal System," obtaining the trademark certificate today.
Centered around the number "25" and the petal shapes of the golden lotus, the logo's primary color, gold, represents Macao's prosperous lotus era, signifying the territory's prosperity and beauty, and its connection to the motherland.
The golden lotus, a symbol of Macao, embodies prosperity, beauty, and happiness, blending Chinese traditional culture with Macao's diverse characteristics. The authorities describe the logo as dynamic, representing a wish for Macao's continuous growth and development towards further brilliance.

There are three versions of the 25th anniversary official logo, including 3D, 2D, and graphic versions. The logo is applicable to all projects related to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, including those organized, co-organized, undertaken, assisted, or similarly involved by the SAR government.
Public sector entities responsible for these projects must review them in advance to ensure that their purpose, content, and arrangements align with the nature of the celebration, coordinating with relevant parties to adopt the official logo where appropriate.
