Minimum temperature of 23.4°C recorded at HKO this morning, lowest so far this autumn
The minimum temperature recorded at the Observatory this morning was 23.4 degrees Celsius, the lowest so far this autumn. The temperature around Tai Mo Shan was as low as 18 degrees.
The northeast monsoon is bringing slightly cooler weather to southern China. Besides, a trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.
According to the Observatory, today is mainly cloudy with a few showers. Showers will be heavier at times with a few thunderstorms. There will be moderate to fresh northeasterly winds, becoming easterlies later.
It is forecast to be showery tomorrow. Showers will ease off gradually in the following couple of days and the weather will be hot with sunny periods.
