Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance extends to Victoria Park tomorrow
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department currently hosts the Urban Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival at Victoria Park.
Tomorrow (Sept. 17), on Mid-Autumn Festival night, the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and then the celebration will be extended to the Football Pitches 5 and 6 in Victoria Park at 10:30 p.m.
Before the dance begins, the Director of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Liu Ming-kwong, and the Tai Hang Residents' Welfare Association Chairman, Yuen Hiu-kwan, will officiate the flower pinning and ribbon hanging ceremony.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., the venue will host other festive activities, including a Mid-Autumn market, a costume show, a "Mascots Catwalk Show," English song and dance performances, demonstrations of traditional crafts from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, a self-service-lantern riddle guessing game, and displays of various brightly colored lanterns.
