To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, citizens can use various paid recreational facilities managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) for free on Oct. 1. Applications for the lottery to use these facilities for free will be accepted starting today (Sept. 14).

Free facility access on Oct. 1 will be allocated through a lottery via the SmartPLAY. Residents can submit their lottery applications from Sept. 14 to 20, choosing up to three options per application.

The lottery results will be announced on Sept. 23, and the SmartPLAY system will notify users directly about their successful bookings, with no need for further confirmation.

Any remaining slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis through the SmartPLAY system for those who did not apply or were not assigned a free slot. Whether through the lottery or first-come, first-served booking, each person is limited to one free session per day, regardless of the type of facility.

Changes to lottery applications can be made until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 20. Users can edit their choices by selecting "Edit lottery options," but must reconfirm their declaration and resubmit the application to complete the process.
