Emergency landing due to disturbance by drunken man on Ryanair flight FR2626
Recently, Ryanair flight FR2626, which was scheduled to fly from Manchester to Ibiza, Spain, was forced to change its destination and make an emergency landing, due to a drunken man who caused a disturbance on board.
It is said that the intoxicated man began drinking heavily as soon as he boarded the plane. He then got into a confrontation with a male attendant and punched him in the face. When other flight attendants attempted to intervene, the man suddenly attacked other passengers and spat at a female passenger.
In order to quickly stop the man's behavior, the captain urgently changed the flight path and made an emergency landing at Blagnac Airport in Toulouse, southern France, at around 9 p.m. that evening. The entire chaotic situation lasted for about 40 minutes.
After the police arrived, the man's wife also began to resist forcefully. Ultimately, both of them were removed from the aircraft, prompting passengers to applaud.
Ryanair confirmed the event and apologized to all affected passengers after the incident, stating that the matter has now been handed over to the police.
