A recent unpleasant incident involving passengers and crew occurred on a Singapore Airlines flight at Hong Kong International Airport on Sept. 10, prompting the aircraft to return to the parking area while taxiing, with police intervening in the investigation.
At 8 p.m. on Sept. 10, a 71-year-old male passenger from Singapore requested alcohol before takeoff but was refused by the crew on a Singapore Airlines flight SQ897 scheduled to fly from Hong Kong to Singapore.
It is said that the passenger exhibited rude behavior towards the crew as the aircraft was taxiing towards the runway. Subsequently, the crew notified the airport control tower and then the aircraft returned to the parking area.
Following the report, police intervened in the investigation. Finally, the flight was delayed for nearly three hours and resumed its journey at 11:23 p.m.
