The Paris Paralympics came to an end at midnight today, Hong Kong time (Sept. 9), with the closing ceremony held at the Stade de France.

The closing ceremony was a "Grand Finale" lasting about three hours, including artistic performance, athlete parades, acknowledgment, and the Paralympic flame and flag handover.

During the artistic performance, Thomas Jolly and his artistic team, in particular Victor Le Masne as Musical Director and Romain Pissenem as Show Director, created a huge celebration entitled "Le Voyage de l'onde" (The Journey of the Wave), transforming the Stade de France into a giant disco.

The flag bearers of the Hong Kong, China Delegation were badminton player Chan Ho-yuen and swimmer Chan Yui-lam. Other athletes from the Delegation, including badminton player Chu Man-kai, also attended the ceremony.
