'No, thanks' to the pricey thing! Netizens comment on HKTVmall's new membership 'HKTVplus+'

The comprehensive one-stop online shopping platform HKTVmall announced on Facebook today (Sept.4) that a new membership called "HKTVplus+" is open for registration. Customers can become "HKTVplus+" members by paying a monthly fee of $33 to enjoy member prices when purchasing products and have access to over 500 selected products.

There have been already three types of VIP membership: VIP, Gold VIP, and Diamond VIP. Customers can attain different memberships by spending a specified amount or placing a certain number of orders, with varying benefits associated with each type of membership.

Following the announcement, many netizens criticized HKTVmall for "chasing customers away".
