Standby Signal No.1 is currently in effect.
A 15-meter tall tree collapsed on a slope opposite No. 25 Sha Wan Drive in Pok Fu Lam around 5 a.m. today (Sept. 4), with branches blocking the road, causing minor traffic disruption.
The police arrived and closed the road after receiving the report. Firefighters also sawed off the trunk and branches and moved them to the sidewalk for further arrangements.
There were no injuries. The road was reopened shortly thereafter.
