China's Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha beat North Korea's Ri Jong Sik and Kim Kum Yong 4-2 in the table tennis mixed doubles final of the Paris Olympics. But unfortunately, his paddle was trampled by someone after the match, which aroused public concern.

When talking of his broken paddle, he said, "It has been bent into a 'C 'shape. Maybe it will be restored as a souvenir." (Weibo)

Wang and Ma Long returned home in the early hours of this morning (Aug. 12). When talking of his broken paddle, he said, "It has been bent into a 'C' shape. Maybe it will be restored as a souvenir."

He was defeated by Truls Moregard of Sweden 2-4 in the round of 32 of the men's singles table tennis the day after the paddle was broken. He responded to the media about the failure after the match, "The main reason for the failure does not lie in the paddle. Instead, I think I have made lots of mistakes. I need to reflect on myself and make a summary of it."
