On the stage of the final of the women's 10m platform diving at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Quan Hongchan managed to win the gold medal.
What is even more remarkable is that Quan Hongchan, at the age of 17 years and 131 days, broke the record held by diving star Fu Mingxia and became the youngest triple gold medalist in China's Olympic history.
After the award ceremony, the audience gave Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi dolls.
The mother of Quan Hongchun said in an interview, "Quan Hongchun has loved dolls since she was a child, because the family is not in good condition, there is no money for her to buy them, she knows this and did not ask me for dolls".
