Edgar Cheung Ka-long: time for holidays
Edgar Cheung Ka-long, a Hong Kong left-handed foil fencer who has won the gold medal at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics, posted a photo with the words "Time for holidays!!!!" on Instagram yesterday (Aug. 6). In the photo, he was enjoying his high tea in an outdoor restaurant. Since yesterday was Wednesday, many comments like "we will work hard" were left under the post, in response to his encouraging words as "work hard together" to the public after he won the gold.
Tse Ying-suet: warm hug to her beloved dog
Tse Ying-suet, a Hong Kong badminton player who has finished fourth in the mixed doubles partnered with Tang Chun-man. After her return to Hong Kong from Paris, she gave a warm hug to her beloved dog and had a great time together.
Tang Chun-man: unexpected flowers from the hairdresser
Tang Chun-man posted a photo sharing a hamburger which has been a hit in Hong Kong as his breakfast. He also went to the hair salon that he frequent, where he was welcomed by the hairdresser with flowers in appreciation of his effort in the Olympics.
Vivian Kong Man-wai: new career in HKJC
Vivian Kong Man-wai, a Hong Kong left-handed épée fencer who has won the gold in women's individual épée at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, will work for the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) soon on Aug. 11. Raymond Tam Chi-yuen, Executive Director of the Corporate Affairs for the HKJC, believes that Kong will try her best to contribute to the society in various fields such as social welfare, youth affairs and sports development.
