A robbery occurred in Kwun Tong. The incident happened at around 5:00 am this morning (Aug. 7), more than 10 people were spending time in a party room at Kwun Tong Industrial Centre Phase 1, Nos. 472-484 Kwun Tong Road, during which a number of villains armed with knives and wooden sticks broke into the room and attacked the people in the room and robbed one of them of HK$110,000 in cash, and then fled from the scene. Police were called to the scene with shields, helmets and bullet-proof vests.
In the incident, one of the men who was robbed of about HK$110,000 in cash suffered head injuries and a 20cm stab wound to his hand, while two other men aged 28 and 30 suffered bruises to their arms and legs, and were sent to hospital for treatment.
It is learned that someone in the party room was playing mahjong when the incident occurred and was robbed by the robbers. Police are investigating the incident and no arrests have been made.
