A fatal traffic accident occurred on Tolo Highway heading towards Kowloon this afternoon (Aug. 5). A pickup truck crashed violently into the rear of a stationary lorry, leaving the driver trapped. Firefighters rescued him, but he was later pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
According to footage shared online, around 2 PM, a lorry was reportedly stopped in the slow lane when a pickup truck approached and, unable to brake in time, collided with the back of the lorry. The front of the pickup truck was severely mangled, and debris was scattered across the road.
