Vivian Kong to start work at Jockey Club this weekend
Olympic gold medallist Vivian Kong will start work at the Jockey Club this weekend, just days after announcing her retirement from professional fencing, according to RTHK.
On Sunday, Kong said she was looking forward to following a new career path that would allow her to give back to Hong Kong.
Raymond Tam, executive director of corporate affairs at the Jockey Club, announced on his Facebook page that Kong will take up a job there as assistant external affairs manager.
Kong's goals to support society, according to Tam, are in line with the club's principles. She will be working on social welfare, youth issues, and sports development.
