Chiranjaya Udumullage is a Sri Lankan businessman who has stayed in China for 15 years. In 2006, he came to study computer science at University of Science and Technology Beijing, where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies. After graduation, he worked as a programer. But in 2017, he founded his own company and started doing tea business. Now he has opened his own store in Beijing.
In addition to promoting Sri Lankan Ceylon tea, he has also updated Sri Lankan wood carvings, jewelry and traditional handicrafts. He hopes to become a cultural ambassador between China and Sri Lanka, and can make good use of the benefits of Belt and Road Initiative to expand more business.
