A2O LITE, one of the most talked-about sixth-generation K-pop rookie girl groups in recent months, has drawn attention for its catchy sound, strong dance presence, and youthful, multinational lineup.
A2O LITE is a nine-member group created by Lee Soo-man, and the group is positioned around a concept described as "Zalpha Pop"—a blend aimed at reflecting the cultural tastes of Gen Z and Generation Alpha. The members' average age is around 15.
Debut and early win
The group officially debuted with the digital single "NEON" on Oct. 13, 2026. In less than a week, A2O LITE took a trophy on SBS M's "THE SHOW" for that week.
A2O LITE is described as the third act launched under A2O Entertainment, a company Lee founded in Los Angeles in 2024. Along with A2O SOUL and A2O MAY, the three group names are presented as referencing the pronunciation of Lee Soo-man's name. "LITE" is framed as a team featuring young members from multiple countries, including Korea, Japan, China, the United States, and Thailand, and the article notes that Girls' Generation member Sunny has provided in-person guidance.
