McDonald's "The Signature Collection" has teamed up for the first time with "Under the Castle", an original dark fantasy IP for which Jackson Wang serves as creative director, to launch a new limited-edition Halloween menu.
The lineup includes a dark-themed Triple Cheese Angus burger, pumpkin and chocolate-filled mini pies, an Oreo McFlurry topped with eyeball-shaped chocolate decorations, and Italian tomato-flavoured grilled chicken wings.
The highlight of the collaboration is the all-black Triple Cheese Angus burger. It features a 100 percent Angus beef patty, a crispy fried cheese stick with a crunchy exterior and soft centre, New Zealand sliced cheese and white cheese sauce. Its striking black top and bottom buns give the burger its distinctive dark appearance.
From Oct. 13, the McDonald's app will offer a series of promotions, including HK$5 off a four-item meal featuring either the new dark-themed Triple Cheese Angus burger or the original Triple Cheese Angus burger, together with the mini pies.
Also starting Oct. 13, McDonald's will offer a value-priced Triple Cheese Angus set for HK$39. Customers can enjoy the promotion when ordering at restaurant counters, self-service kiosks or through the McDonald's app.
