Hong Kong's delegation added three more bronze medals at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on Saturday, taking the team's overall medal tally to 29.
The bronzes came in the women's foil team and men's sabre team fencing events, as well as the women's singles squash competition.
In women's team foil, Daphne Chan, Valerie Cheng, Janelle Leung and Sophia Wu secured bronze after a 27-45 loss to Japan, which went on to win gold.
Hong Kong also claimed bronze in the men's team sabre event. Royce Chan, Hugo Ho, Aaron Ho and Leung Tin-ching finished on the podium after being beaten by South Korea in the semifinals.
Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law Shuk-pui congratulated the athletes, praising both squads for fighting to the end against strong opposition and delivering two more team medals for Hong Kong, China.
In squash, Chan Sin-yuk captured bronze in the women's singles event, adding to Hong Kong's medal haul.
With the latest results, Hong Kong has won 29 medals at the 2026 Asian Games so far — four golds, 11 silvers and 14 bronzes.
