On Sept. 5 (local time), the first WorldSSP race at the French Round of the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) was held at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. Riding for Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO, Frenchman Valentin Debise started from pole and went on to finish third, taking his place on the podium.
This round is the ninth of the season and the first race after the summer break. In the Tissot Superpole session on September 4, Debise took pole, while his teammate, Italian rider Federico Caricasulo, finished second. The two ZXMOTO bikes also made history by lining up on the front row for the race.
