Logistics service providers in Shenzhen have accelerated the commercial deployment of functional autonomous vehicles in recent years, an effort which has helped reduce the physical workload of courier workers while improving delivery efficiency.
As of July 2026, there are a total of 837 functional autonomous vehicles operating in Shenzhen's logistics sector, serving 2,890 routes with a road coverage of around 13,000 kilometers.
