Foreign media reported on Aug. 8 that Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, said in a media interview that his father's prostate cancer has continued to worsen. The cancer has not only metastasized to his bones but has also spread to other parts of his body. The pain has left Biden suffering greatly and has severely affected his quality of life.

Biden set the record as the oldest president in U.S. history when he was elected in 2020. During his presidency, his physical health and mental acuity were subjects of constant scrutiny. In May 2025, less than four months after leaving the White House, he publicly disclosed that he had been diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of prostate cancer and revealed that the cancer had already spread to his bones at the time of diagnosis. Following the diagnosis, Biden quickly began a comprehensive treatment regimen.
