Looking up at the vast starry sky, tracing the evolution of Earth, exploring the journey of life, and understanding our mountain-and-sea home – the much-anticipated Shenzhen Natural History Museum will officially open its doors on July 28 (next Tuesday). Located in the Yanzi Lake area of Pingshan District, the large comprehensive natural history museum is nestled between mountains and waters, blending seamlessly into its natural surroundings. It is set to become one of the largest innovative natural history landmarks in southern China, adding a new platform for ecological civilization and science popularization in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The building rises five stories above ground and extends two stories below, comprising a standalone structure integrated with a comprehensive landscape and greening system. It combines specimen collection, exhibitions, scientific research, and natural science education into one multifunctional space. With the positioning of "leading in China, world-class," the museum aims to become the largest innovative natural history museum in southern China, a public education center for holistic natural history, and a showcase platform for China's modernization achievements in ecological civilization development.
