Students taking part in the "2026 Fan Changjiang Action—Hong Kong Media Students Shaanxi Tour" recently visited the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River, describing the experience as a powerful encounter with China's deep history and a strong sense of national identity. Some said it was their first time seeing the Yellow River—often called the "mother river"—and that even though they were soaked through by the spray, they were still overwhelmed by the spectacle and felt an intense sense of belonging.
