As the HKDSE results approach, HKMU LiPACE held a Media Luncheon and Programme Information Day on 9 July 2026 at its Kwai Hing Campus to help young people plan their future paths. The event showcased four Higher Diploma programmes aligned with local and regional development, highlighting how Vocational Professional Education and Training (VPET) can meet evolving social needs.

Dean Dr. Benjamin Chan, along with Associate Directors and programme leaders, explained how the School stays responsive to market demands. Four students shared their success stories, including offers for Year 3 entry at local universities and insights into their learning journeys.

Dr. Chan emphasised that traditional degrees are no longer the only route for youth. He stressed the School's commitment to equipping students with practical, career-ready skills and opening up diverse professional opportunities.

The featured programmes—Creative Culture and Arts Practice, Pet Care and Lifestyle Services, Health and Molecular Testing, and Tourism and Hospitality Studies—are designed to address emerging industries. Each integrates hands-on training, industry-relevant facilities, and real-world applications.

For the 2026–27 academic year, HKMU LiPACE offers 13 full-time Higher Diploma programmes and 1 full-time Diploma. Seven programmes are covered by the SSSDP, providing 560 subsidised places, while six others are eligible for CEF funding.

Students benefit from internships at leading organisations and have articulation pathways to bachelor's degrees with credit exemptions. An application fee waiver is available until 31 July for eligible applicants.
