As residents contend with severe weather conditions during lunchtime, several restaurant chains have confirmed that they will continue operating during the Black Rainstorm period.
McDonald's
Most McDonald's outlets remain open as usual. However, a small number of branches may be unable to provide services. Customers are advised to check the operating status of individual restaurants online before heading out.
KFC
KFC outlets are maintaining normal business hours. During the Black Rainstorm Warning, KFC's delivery service will be suspended across all locations. Dine-in services, takeaway orders and the chain's pickup service will continue to operate as normal.
Pizza Hut
All Pizza Hut outlets will continue to provide dine-in and takeaway pickup services during the Black Rainstorm Warning. However, Pizza Hut Hong Kong's delivery service will be suspended to ensure the safety of delivery personnel.
TamJai Yunnan Mixian
TamJai Yunnan Mixian said that most of its outlets will remain open during Black Rainstorm Warnings and when Gale Or Storm Signal No.8 is in force.
TamJai SamGor Mixian
Most TamJai SamGor Mixian outlets will continue operating during Black Rainstorm Warnings and Signal No. 8 conditions. However, some branches may close, and customers are advised to call ahead to confirm whether their preferred outlet is open.
Café de Coral
The fast-food chain Café de Coral said that most of its outlets will continue to operate normally during Black Rainstorm Warnings and Signal No. 8 weather conditions.
Maxim's MX
Restaurant chain Maxim's MX said all its outlets will remain open as usual during Black Rainstorm Warnings and Signal No. 8 conditions, making it one of the few dining options available during severe weather.
