As the peak summer travel season begins, Hong Kong Disneyland has launched its flagship annual summer event, Pixar Summer Fest, running from June 12 to Aug. 31.
The seasonal celebration offers both local residents and visiting tourists a vibrant Pixar-themed experience, adding to HK's summer tourism and family entertainment offerings.
This year's event is centered on beloved Pixar animation franchises, with the park transformed by colorful summer-themed decorations and a range of new and enhanced attractions.
One of the highlights is the debut of "Pixar Pals Spectacular," a new nighttime show that combines visual effects and animated storytelling to deliver an immersive evening performance.
The popular "Pixar Water Play Street Party" parade has also returned. Fan-favorite Pixar characters from films including "Toy Story" and "The Incredibles" will interact with guests along the parade route, creating a lively and refreshing summer party atmosphere.
In addition, the park has upgraded its Animation Academy, allowing visitors of all ages to gain a closer look at the art of animation. A selection of limited-edition Pixar-themed food items and exclusive merchandise has also been introduced, offering guests a fully immersive animation-inspired summer experience.
To thank local residents for their support, the resort has launched a limited-time ticket promotion for HK residents. From now until Sept. 20, groups of two or more HK residents can enjoy a special offer under which adults can purchase standard admission tickets at children's ticket prices, with fares starting from HK$499. The promotion also includes discount vouchers for dining and merchandise purchases within the park.
