A fire broke out in a high-floor apartment at Kwong Chi House of Kwong Fuk Estate in Hong Kong's Tai Po district at around 6 p.m. on Thursday (June 11).
Videos circulating online showed thick smoke billowing from the unit's front door and spreading throughout the corridor. Residents who witnessed the scene alerted emergency services.
Firefighters responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze after reaching the affected floor.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
