According to a report by Deutsche Presse-Agentur, a Lufthansa Airlines aircraft suffered a nose landing gear collapse at its parking position at Frankfurt Airport on June 4, injuring several crew members. The incident occurred before passengers had boarded.
The report stated that Lufthansa confirmed that a ground incident took place at Frankfurt Airport around noon, involving a Boeing 787-9 aircraft originally scheduled to fly to Los Angeles, USA. A Lufthansa spokesperson said, "While the aircraft was parked at the gate, the nose landing gear suddenly and unexpectedly collapsed. At the time of the incident, the flight crew and ground staff were on board, while passengers had not yet begun boarding."
According to the report, the injured personnel are receiving medical treatment. The specific cause of the incident is under investigation.
