According to statistics from the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of Japan, as of 2:00 pm local time on June 3, a total of 23 people have been injured across six prefectures affected by Typhoon No. 6 (Typhoon Jangmi): Aichi, Nara, Tokushima, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Okinawa. Among them, Okinawa Prefecture reported the highest number of injuries, with 17 people injured, one of whom is in serious condition.
Affected by Typhoon No. 6 (Typhoon Jangmi), some rail services in the Tokyo metropolitan area have been suspended today, multiple rivers in Tokyo have seen rising water levels, and numerous flights arriving at and departing from Tokyo's Haneda Airport have been canceled this morning. At the same time, a total of 728 public elementary, junior high, and high schools in Tokyo have been temporarily closed. In addition, 55 public schools have delayed the start of classes, while 191 other schools have switched to online classes.
