Airport T2 opens today: First look at check-in counters, dining outlets, interior design, exterior appearance

Hong Kong International Airport's Terminal 2 (T2) officially opened today (May 27), marking an important milestone in the airport's development.

T2 is equipped with more self-service facilities and technological devices, aligning well with the target passenger base of the young and dynamic airlines that will soon be operating there. The check-in hall features 68 new self-service bag drop machines. The Immigration Department has also installed 35 of the latest model e-Channels, integrating "Flight Token," "Smart Departure," and "Contactless e-Channel" service functions to cater to the needs of different travellers.
