South Korean girl group BLACKPINK wrapped up the final stop of its world tour in Hong Kong at the end of January this year. Today (May 21), member Jisoo made a high-profile return to the city.
Jisoo is scheduled to attend a celebration event for a brand she endorses at Landmark in Central later in the evening. Large numbers of BLACKPINK fans flocked to the venue, with long queues already forming outside Landmark by noon.
Meanwhile, a giant fan support poster featuring Jisoo was displayed inside MTR's Admiralty station, attracting significant attention from passersby.
Videos filmed by fans showed Jisoo departing from Incheon International Airport in Seoul for HK earlier in the day. Appearing in high spirits, she smiled and waved to fans along the way and also accepted large bags of gifts, displaying a friendly and approachable demeanor.
