Steven Ma, who transitioned from the entertainment industry to the fields of business and administrative management, recently resigned as Chief Executive Officer of Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited for personal reasons, without disclosing his next move.
Today (May 18), Hin Sang Group officially announced that Steven Ma will be appointed as Vice Chairman, Executive Director, and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Group, effective on May 20.
Steven Ma had worked in the entertainment industry for over 30 years, with experience spanning singing, film, television, radio, editing, directing, acting, and producing. After leaving TVB in 2012, he began pursuing business ventures, including establishing a tutoring school, a coffee brand business, and a film and television production company.
Since Hin Sang Group is a publicly listed company and Steven Ma will be serving as a member of its board of directors, his remuneration must be disclosed in accordance with the law. His current annual salary at the Hin Sang Group is approximately HK$2.5 million, exclusive of bonuses.
