Have you ever heard of "shop cats"? As you wander through the streets of Hong Kong, you'll notice that many shops are home to a very special kind of resident. Some lounge lazily on shelves, dozing off; others pace calmly between counters, occasionally seeing customers off or welcoming new ones. Today, let's go on a cat-chasing journey together!

The first shop cat is the celebrity shop cat, George Lee. Every morning, he waits patiently by the bus stop, carrying himself with a polite, gentlemanly air. Then there's Pudding, who lives in a pet store surrounded by treats all day long—yet shows remarkable restraint, never touching a single item on the shelves. Mr. Tiger is the cooperative professional: cheerful and outgoing, he strikes a pose as soon as the camera points his way. There's also the shy Baak Jim Sing, who, despite a bit of social anxiety, still shows up for duty every day. Then there's also the cutie Little Flower. If you call her name, she'll rub up affectionately beside you like the friendly girl next door.

The most amusing pair has to be Sesame and Money. The shop owner explains that when she calls out "Open Sesame,"  Money comes running, a clever nod to inviting wealth and good fortune. Along the way, we met many other shop cats who don't have names. They may not have fancy titles, but they quietly accompany their little shops, day after day.

Each of these shop cats has a story of their own. Every shop they inhabit gains a touch of liveliness and charm. In their natural, gentle way, they weave themselves into the fabric of the community, adding a layer of warmth to the city. So, if you happen to pass by and spot one of these shop cats, feel free to step inside and stay a while. Just remember: don't disturb their naps, don't pet them without permission, and never force-feed them. Respecting these little "shop managers" is the best way to show you care.
