The US will issue a limited-edition passport featuring the portrait of Donald Trump as part of commemorations marking the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding, according to a statement released by the US Department of State on April 28, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
The redesigned passport will include Trump's portrait on its interior pages, alongside imagery of the Declaration of Independence and his signature.
Existing security and anti-counterfeiting features will be retained, the State Department said.
Described as a "special design edition," the passport will be issued in limited quantities as part of the anniversary celebrations.
