Multiple international arts events took place in Hong Kong in March. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) invited JOSHUA, a member of K-pop group SEVENTEEN, to visit the city and experience two major international art showcases—Art Basel and Art Central—as well as several popular local tourist attractions. JOSHUA also filmed a brand-new promotional short video during the trip.
During his visit, JOSHUA toured a range of art venues and urban art spaces, including Art Basel, Art Central, Jardine House, Landmark Place, and North Point East Coast Park. He personally experienced how contemporary art connects with architecture and public spaces.
In addition, JOSHUA visited Central to learn about the "outdoor digital projection art" initiative co-developed by the HKTB and Art Basel. He also spoke with creator DeeKay to understand how digital art is created and expressed across different media.
JOSHUA said: "I'm very happy to take part in this year's art week in HK. The atmosphere where diverse cultures and top-tier art blend perfectly has left me extremely delighted. This is a brand-new, inspiring experience. I hope I can come back again in the future to explore more excellent artworks and feel the city's endless artistic appeal."
