God has made a mistake---in allowing Trump's parents to unleash their son on the planet. He is atomizing the global order at breakneck speed.

With Trump, every day is melodrama day. If it's not Greenland, it's Canada. If it' not Canada, it's Venezuela which is followed by Iran. Soon that may segue into Cuba.

Trump set out to pocket the Nobel Peace Prize, and when that didn't pan out, he plunged full tilt into warmongering.

With Trump on the rampage, war is back in vogue, as the Pontiff puts it. And when war goes astray, he migrates to fantasies, imagining himself to be Jesus, thereby turning Jesus into a joke—an utmost act of blasphemy. If this is not proof positive of Trump's insanity, what is?

He doubles down by waging a war of words with God's representative on earth: Pope Leo 14th, the first American-born Catholic leader in history, accusing the Pontiff of being "weak on crime".

What about Trump himself? A convicted criminal, a tax cheat, a pathological liar, a two-timing husband with multiple mistresses, a lawless, foul-mouthed, war-loving predator, he is America's curse on the world. Of all people, he is the least qualified to lecture the Pope.

His lap-dog Vice President, himself a Catholic, pathetically sides with his secular boss, telling the Pope to stick to "moral" matters. He is missing the point: there is no greater moral urgency than stopping wars, the killing of innocent civilians and the wholesale destruction of a civilization. These top the Pope's job description.

Trump lies about the Bible being his favorite book. But when challenged, he can't cite a single biblical quotation. (How about "Thou shall not commit adultery"?) The unread Bible is his fig leaf for covering his multitude of sins—to keep his far-right Christian base sweet and solid.

From would-be Nobel Peace Prize winner to brutal warmonger to shameless pretender of Jesus the savior—it must be so tiring juggling with so many hats.

But Trump is running out of options. Where else can he go after playing Jesus?

One role that fits Trump to a T is playing the Anti-Christ who sits on the wrong side of angels. Anyone with a pulse can see that Trump is suffering from ADHD. You don't have to be a doctor to judge that he is a damaged and deranged human being who belongs in a lunatic asylum. He is too dangerous to be uncaged.

America is helpless, because Congress is spineless, populated by selfish politicians focused more on retaining their seats than doing their duty to their country. Mighty America now stands alone, distrusted, and drowning in its own evil deeds.

Nothing holds Trump's attention for long, not tariffs, not wars, not even playing Jesus. He is an attention junkie who laps up the headlines. He bluffs like a bully, blusters like a gangster and swaggers like a war criminal. There is not a decent bone in his body.

So far, the only country capable of psychiatrically taming Trump is China. China stays low-key, refusing to react to Trump's crazy rhetoric or his huffy fury. It is measured in speech and ice-cold in action, knowing that placating Trump is a fool's strategy.

That's why Trump appeasers, from the brown-nosing Nato secretary general Mark Rutte who shamelessly called Trump "Daddy", to Japanese Prime Minister Takaishi who embarrassingly treats Trump like her horny new lover, have all come to grief.

The only strategy that works with a ruthless bully is to be non-reactive. Just wait and let Trump self-destruct in his own sweet time. A fool stumbling from crisis to crisis will soon lose his footing.

The American system is broken. Its much-hyped checks and balances have failed to function. But there is a silver lining. America's predatory ugliness is exposed for the world to see, with Trump making no bones about his reckless cruelty or imperial ambitions.

This is a crazy world. Trump the brutal bully is taunting the world by putting himself on the altar of the holy.

The mass killer is portraying himself as a healer after siphoning off hundreds of billions from healthcare programs, leaving sick children and the elderly without coverage. His corridor of power is packed with the highest bidders who can pay handsomely for access.

Democracy has failed the stress test. Its systemic failure is dismantling a flawed model that is now on its last legs. When Trump sanctions away the rights of the UN special rapporteur for exposing the Gaza genocide, he has lost his legitimacy, though he holds the levers of super-power in his hands. The American empire is down in the dumps with Trump.
