Directed and written by renowned filmmaker Han Han, "Pegasus 3" has soared past RMB 4.3 billion in box office earnings since its release in the Chinese Mainland, securing the top spot for the Chinese New Year holiday box office and entering the ranks of the all-time top ten box office hits. The highly anticipated film is scheduled for release in Hong Kong on April 9, with early screenings available during the Easter holidays.
Additionally, the production company has arranged exclusive screenings of the previous films, "Pegasus 1" and "Pegasus 2."
In "Pegasus 3," the original all-star cast—starring Shen Teng, Yin Zheng, Johnny Huang, and Fan Chengcheng —returns with a fresh lineup of young and talented actors, including Daichi Harashima, Aarif Rahman, Hu Xianxu, and Wang Anyu. To deliver a realistic racing experience, several actors obtained professional racing licenses prior to filming.
Director Han Han, a seasoned racer himself, infused his extensive racing expertise into the film. In the movie's trailer, edge-of-your-seat action sequences, such as cliffside drifting, wild gravel road races, and multi-car chases, were captured through seamless, real-life stunts rather than CGI effects.
