Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, and the community is looking forward to a series of celebratory events. In a recent interview, Hong Kong deputy to the National People's Congress and LegCo Member Kenneth Fok revealed exciting news for table tennis fans: under his chairmanship, the Hong Kong Olympic Academy invited Olympic table tennis champion Ma Long to visit Hong Kong on March 20 to hold a dialogue with local youth students, aiming to use sport as a platform to bring more positive energy to young people.
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University confirmed on its social media on March 18 that Ma Long would appear at PolyU to participate in a morning lecture on March 20. Other guests at the event included Kenneth Fok, Hong Kong swimmer Stephanie Au, and Yvette Kong.
This morning (March 20), Ma Long arrived on campus dressed in a blue tracksuit, instantly drawing a crowd of students and staff. Kenneth Fok and his wife, Olympic diver Guo Jingjing, were also present at the lecture.
